The University of Victoria is inviting applications for an Assistant Professor in Indigenous Geographies, focusing on Human-Environment Relationships. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD in Indigenous Geographies or related field by start date
- Expertise in Indigenous ways of knowing and geographic pedagogies
- Teaching and supervision experience at undergraduate and graduate levels
- Strong record of research output and publications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specialisation in Human-Environment Relations
- Experience with collaborative Indigenous research
- Knowledge of Pacific Northwest Indigenous histories, cultures, and protocols
- Ability to secure external research funding
