Eligibility & Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • PhD in geoscience or related discipline
  • Expertise in near-surface geophysical methods

  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
  • Experience in interdisciplinary projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of data harmonisation and metadata standards
  • Experience with multimodal and cross-domain data
  • Prior work in collaborative, international scientific environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop harmonised metadata standards under the NFDI framework
  • Acquire and process quality-controlled geophysical datasets
  • Draft guidelines for sensor-based data collection and quality assurance
