About the Position
The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and La Rochelle University invite applications for a 19-month Postdoctoral Researcher in High-Resolution Coastal Ocean Modelling. Hosted at the LIENSs Interdisciplinary Joint Research Unit, this project focuses on understanding how terrestrial freshwater and organic/inorganic matter fluxes influence shallow coastal ecosystems, sediment evolution, and the coastal carbon cycle within the Bay of Biscay. The selected candidate will develop a regional, high-resolution ECCO-Darwin model configuration to enhance understanding of land–sea coupling and sediment–water interactions. This position offers collaboration with an international team and contributes to advancing climate and coastal sustainability research.
