About Position/Job
The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) invites applications for the position of Project Assistant I under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan project, sponsored by the Ministry of Education. This role focuses on rural development activities including organizing seminars, preparing village development plans, and coordinating with participating institutes. Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sociology, Rural Development, Development Studies, or any relevant discipline
- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade from graduation onwards
- Minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in Class 10 and 12
Preferred Skills:
- Good communication skills
- Experience in organizing seminars and workshops
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple institutes
- Experience in preparing development plans
Key Responsibilities
- Organize seminars and meetings related to rural development activities
- Prepare Village Development Plans based on field data and consultations
- Coordinate with participating institutes under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan program
- Assist in documentation and reporting of project activities
