About Position/Job
The Department of Zoology, Institute of Science, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, invites applications for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under an ICMR-funded research project titled “Evaluation of diagnostic and therapeutic potential of phosphodiesterase against different stages of T cell lymphoma” (Project Code: P-14/0786). This is a temporary, performance-based position.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- First-class postgraduate degree (including integrated PG),
OR second-class postgraduate degree with PhD - Relevant fields: Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Research experience in molecular biology techniques
- Experience in animal handling
- Proven publication or project background in the subject area
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research under the ICMR-funded project
- Perform experiments using molecular biology tools
- Handle animal models for in vivo research
- Maintain records and assist in data analysis and reporting
- Contribute to scientific outputs under the guidance of the Principal Investigator
