Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) is inviting applications for a full-time Research Support Staff position within the Department of Humanities. Applications remain open until 8 July 2026 for a role supporting communication and knowledge transfer activities associated with archaeological research projects funded through the European Research Council under Horizon Europe. The position is connected to the research line examining gender, material culture and maintenance activities in colonial situations.
Building upon this research framework, the successful candidate will contribute to scientific communication, public dissemination and outreach activities related to archaeological campaigns scheduled across Saipan, Guam, Curaçao and Bonaire during 2027. Responsibilities focus on communication planning, content production and dissemination activities supporting archaeological fieldwork and research engagement.
In addition, the role includes coordinating communication strategies before excavation campaigns, producing digital and audiovisual materials, preparing outreach content and supporting institutional communication channels. The post also requires collaboration with research teams to identify dissemination opportunities and communicate archaeological research activities to wider audiences.
Following the completion of field campaigns, the appointed professional will prepare dissemination materials presenting preliminary research outcomes, compile communication indicators and organise public engagement activities.
