About the Fellowship
The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education (STINT) is funding the STINT International Postdoc Fellowships 2025. The goal is to enhance Sweden’s international research presence and promote international academic exchange. These fellowships support early-career researchers in developing independent postdoctoral projects, either abroad (for Swedish PhDs) or in Sweden (for international postdocs), beyond the EU/EFTA/UK. With a focus on long-term collaboration and cross-border academic engagement, the programme enables scholars to expand their research scope, build sustainable networks, and gain exposure to new methodologies and institutional cultures. The fully funded 12-month fellowship, worth up to SEK 1.2 million, supports equitable internationalisation and contributes to Sweden’s strategic goals in higher education and global research excellence.
