About Position/Job
The INTERSECT research hub at the University of Copenhagen invites applications for its Visiting Research Fellowship for Fall 2025. The programme supports interdisciplinary academic work that addresses questions of inequality, justice, and urban transformation, encouraging younger scholars—especially those at PhD or postdoctoral level—to apply.
INTERSECT explores the intersection of arts, humanities, social sciences, and design to develop new methods of identifying and discussing complex urban, ecological, and social challenges. The fellowship supports scholars working on topics related to cities, landscapes, and communities through inclusive, creative, and collaborative research.

Eligibility & Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- PhD or currently pursuing a PhD in a relevant field
- Research aligned with INTERSECT’s core themes
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with participatory methods or creative approaches
- Interest in organising academic events and contributing to research communities
- Fluency in English
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in residence at INTERSECT
- Participate in relevant academic activities
- Organise a CIRCLE seminar during your stay
- Engage with the interdisciplinary research environment at the University of Copenhagen
